George
and his family currently reside in Chattanooga, TN. Prior to 2003, they
resided in Anderson, IN. He graduated from Ball State University in
1975 and joined General Motors. In 1984, he left General Motors to pursue
a career in executive recruiting and joined Sales Consultants, a division
of Management Recruiters. He received excellent training at Sales Consultants.
In his first year as a consultant he achieved "Pacesetter"
status and qualified for a trip to Puerto Rico. In 1985 George was ranked
second as a rookie in the Midwest Region.
After
gaining experience as a recruiter in manufacturing, he decided to take
a leave of absence, sell insurance for one year, and return to recruiting
where he chose to focus on insurance. He learned about selling insurance
the hard way…straight commission sales. One year after returning
to executive search, George was selected to open, establish, and manage
an Indianapolis office for a Philadelphia based retained search firm
specializing in retained searches in the financial services industry.
In 1989 George founded Hudson Associates, LLC.. Currently specialty
areas include Life Insurance, Wealth Management, Advanced Marketing,
Private Client Sales & Services, and Property & Casualty.
George
believes in staying abreast of technology and maintains most of his
records, resumes and client information in a sophisticated electronic
database. He holds three professional designations. They are the CPC
(Certified Personnel Consultant), CRPC (Certified Recruiting Personnel
Consultant), and CPR (Certified Power Recruiter). The CPC is the most
recognized and is sanctioned by the National Association of Personnel
Services.
